THEME 8: Life-saver Technology

Talking about having something done by another person/thing Talking about asking someone to do something for us Describing problems What do you know about life-saver technologies? Technological devices make people's lives easier. A dishwasher lets us save our time. Researchers have found a way to have the amount of plastic garbage cut down. Doctors had the disabled person walk by using robotic device. Micro operation gives doctors an opportunity to perform seamless surgeries. Sorry to bother you, but I think there is a problem that requires an urgent solution. What's the problem? It's about the machine I use. I got it! It is running out of energy, it needs recharging. The researchers have been trying out the new medicine that is a hope for cancer. The government got nanotechnology application improved after the Asian tsunami.

Describing moods Talking about characters Making suggestions What's the matter with you? You look angry. I don't get on well with my sister because she is arrogant. Laugh and the world laughs with you; cry and you cry alone. I saw something today that really annoyed me. Red is the colour of anger, violence, adventure, energy, love... How can you describe yourself? I am a sociable person, so I can make friends easily but I can sometimes be impatient. Why don't you go running in the forest to improve your mood? You'd better avoid reading and watching negative news.
